This boot has a very roomy toebox - even for someone with a wide foot - no need to size up for wide feet. The forefoot has great cushioning for walking and standing comfort - on balance, it is far more comfortable underfoot than any of my 6 pairs of Dr Martens.The collar and tongue (ankle and above) are work boot stiff; you need to position the tongue properly and at least loosely tie the boot to hold the tongue in place - if the tongue slides to the side or gets out of alignment, it is stiff enough to be irritating.This boot is tough enough enough to be your only work boot, but good looking enough to do what most TL's are purchased for - hanging out.
